Ter Beke, the leading producer of chilled pasta meals and fine processed meats has closed the first quarter 2002 with a profit.
Unaudited figures end of March confirm the positive trend of last year's 2^nd half.
Ter Beke realized a current net profit of above 1 million EUR and confirms thus the expectations set forward in our March 8 press release.
This profit results from good sales in ready meals across Europe, sound cost management and stabilized raw material costs.
We expect this profit trend to continue through the remaining part of 2002.
