TerBeke-Pluma strengthens its distribution in the United Kingdom

Waarschoot, 12 January 2007 - TerBeke-Pluma, the Processed Meats Division of the Ter Beke Group, has acquired 100% of the shares of the English company SDF Foods Limited, for a total amount of approximately 2.7 million euros.

SDF Foods, which had already acted for years as an agent for Pluma, has been active for more than two decades in the sale and distribution of chilled foods to the English retail sector. With this acquisition TerBeke-Pluma is taking its next step in the development of its commercial activities in the United Kingdom. TerBeke-Pluma acquired the control over SDF Foods to achieve even better its strategic objectives in the English retail sector.
