Ter Beke confirms prospects for 2007
Waarschoot, 9 November 2007
The fresh food group Ter Beke, producer of fresh ready meals and
processed meats, confirms after the third quarter the prospects
expressed for 2007.
At the end of the third quarter of 2007, the turnover and results of the
Ter Beke Group are of such a nature that the prospects expressed when
the half-year results were published can be confirmed.
Unless the market environment deteriorates or there are new
unanticipated price increases, this means the group expects that the
result for the full year 2007 will at least equal the result of 2006.
On 29 October 2007, Ter Beke acquired the Dutch company Berkhout
Verssnijlijn. This acquisition was extensively addressed in earlier
press releases. Berkhout will be included in the consolidation circle of
Ter Beke with effect from 1 September 2007. However, the effect on the
net result for 2007 can remain limited due to a number of one-off IFRS
modifications.
